Homebrew Discussion Running Kotor2 on L4T Switch with xoreos

Dear Switch modding comunity,

I've been trying to run the famous Star Wars game "Knights of the Old Republic 2" on the Switch using L4T.
Xoreos is an open source reimplementation of the BioWare's Aurora engine. Although the project is still under development, it's runnning fine on L4T.

Here is a short video :


To get it running here are the requirements :
- L4T running on switch
- A mouse and a keyboard plugged on the Switch dock
- A copy of Kotor2 (I took mine from GOG)

Hum, very nice, I love those two games.

Now that I'm thinking on it, maybe the first one can be played too, with switch Android, as there is a port of it on Google play store for normal Android.

That's true for kotor1 indeed.
In fact I would love to see these two games on the Switch natively. In principle, it is possible to get xoreos working on the Switch Firmware but some dependancies are difficult to manage with devkitpro.

But yeah I guess the best way to enjoy the first one at least is with Android.

I have actually managed to run KOTOR 1 natively on Android absolutely fine, here is a short test video:
