[Rumour] Nintendo's NX not aiming to compete with PS4 on a power level

Tamaki, an Unseen64 insider who has been right about a number of things in the past, most notably predicting the PS4 Uncharted collection and Fallout 4 Pip-boy collector's edition version before they were announced claims that Nintendo's next system will not be aiming to compete with the PS4 in terms of power. While this is by no means a confirmed fact and there's no other evidence aside from his word to go off of, it does fit in line with Nintendo's philosophy with their past systems.

Flame bait aside, rumors are rumors and wether the dude has a history or not doesn't really sit with me. I'll look at results and find out what the fuck it's actually supposed to be before I take anyone's claims seriously.

Typical, Nintendo. Always falling behind in terms of specs, and I personally hate that. When was Nintendo most technically superior in the console wars? You have to look back to maybe the Super Nintendo. I am not sure if the N64 had higher specs than the PSX, and I am not certain that the GCN was stronger than the PS2 or Xbox either.

N64 > ps1
Xbox > GC>PS2
But remember that the gamecube and 64 were both limited by inferior storage methods
