one thing is to be shown and E3 but another is to release this year
This has to be the most awesome picture ever in a News thread.
This hurts my eyes.
lol should we not be talking about the news i mean been release this year and stuff
How about we wait till E3 to actually see what they're working on, hmm? The fact that chips are being shipped only means that they be cookin' something, not that they're readying up for releases.
The fact that they may be coming to E3 is a possibility but a release this year? That's bullshit.
Has any console actually hit the market the year it was shown?
I don'y think it would really be this year, maybe around 2014 probably.
Wasn't the conservative estimate for both the PS4 and Nextbox anywhere between 2013-2015? Or am I just stupid and pulling these numbers out of my ass?
Wow. Sony, Microsoft, and Nintendo must have blown their photoshop budget for the year.
As for the topic, I'm doubting that. If you want to successfully launch a console, you are going to want enough time to build it up. Sure, releasing in time for Christmas would be nice, but a premature launch isn't going to do anyone any favors.
not gonna happen they have to wait for thre wiiu to be released 1st than they can steal it's features than they will release their copied versions of it with moar gfx and fazter cpuz
I took these pictures of the PS3 at TGS 2005:
Warning: Spoilers inside!
That was back in September 2005.
We didn't see an actual release of the PS3 until 13 months later in Japan.
If we haven't even seen any physical proof-of-concept designs of the next-gen consoles yet, then there's no freaking way they'll be released this year.
Lol @ early PS3 controller.
We definitely won't be seeing the next-gen consoles this year.
I wanted to buy a used PS3.. should I now? Or wait?
lol I remember that controller.
lol that pictures.
lol this thread.
Pretty sure it was shown in 2010 as the "NGP", it was only unveiled as the Vita at E3 last year.
It was unveiled at Sony's January 2011 conference as NGP. http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2011-01-27-psp2-unveiled-next-generation-portable
Ah, my bad, wasn't sure if it was January 2011 or December 2010.
Slim possibility of being announced, absolutely no possibility of being at retail. People have nothing better to do then make silly rumors I guess.
