This is actually pretty cool. I wonder if it will be better then the iPod Touch. It probably won't dominate in sales like the iPod Touch but it also probably won't fail like the Zune HD.

Kinda Off-Topic: You used "there" instead of "their."

On-Topic: They might be able to win if the price isn't too high.

Cool. Doubt it will sell well, unless they really push it.

it will fail, you know why? because it won't have enough memory like ipod touches have, 64gb compared to 16gb massive difference.

if they included flash memory as well as removable storage then they have a chance.

It's bound to include some flash memory. 16GB + MicroSD for expandable is pretty good if it works well and has a decent music interface. It sounds like a good idea in theory so long as the Android interface is simplified a bit for easier music access etc. The iPod App is so simple to use compared to the music player on my mum's Android phone.

I really hope this does sell well, but I doubt it. An android based media player, resembling the touch, I wouldn't mind getting one.

Btw, I think the source's use of "there" is correct.

    GO SAMSUNG.

i support this motion. Personally, i would like to see a phone become popular that gives the user more control over their product.

You buy an apple phone, you either have to jailbreak it or fill it with apple products ($$$) or stuff sold through apple.

I dream of a phone that allows you to fully customize it's software> Because then, i could install skype on my phone, and use any WiFi access point to make HELLA CHEAP phone calls to wherever.

But hey, what phone provider would support such a motion?
I think i have to buy an android, install linux, then i can do such things, as long as the wifi functionality comes with developer API's (haha, yeah right)

Actually, you can do all this with most stock android devices on most carriers. Android is linux, and as such you would already have linux running. I'm pretty sure too that there's a skype app in the android market.
The issue is ease of use for most people.

A lot depends on the prices too, if they really want to compete with Apple it better be a nice amount of money under the iPod prices.
