If only Xbox announced a HandHeld. I garauntee that it would storm the handheld market and be on top instantly, dominating the Handheld Market AND the Console market.

... and after a month, everyone would be stranded, their Xbox handheld overheated and blown.

Lol funny. I have to say I haven't once had red rings of death and this is a second hand xbox, plus I've owned it over 2 years and god knows how long theprevious owner had it. Even if it's starting to p*ss about a bit now and then, I still reckon they would be a hit.
And bout this concept of gaming with eye movements (search XBOX 720 google images you'll see what I mean) it doesn't sound all that fun.

EDIT: Infact it seems that Elites have been acting up the most in comparison. Then again I heard you send off an xbox with RROD and they send back someone elses if it will take a while to fix, you'll never know what bugs re with this one. -.- Microsoft if only you payed as much attention to your XBOX community and made xbox with care, not quantity in mind :

Although cool looking, I really think its a waste of money and resources for Sony to redesign the same old thing and try and sell it to people again. There are already too many different types of PSP out there, and whenever a new one is released the media attention lessens every time. When I open a newspaper this week every single one is filled with DSi adverts and its fair share of articles promoting it. When the last PSP revision came out I dont remember seeing anything about it, no fanfare whatsoever. Undoubtedly the sliding screen will be eye catching and shift a few units if it does come out, but would they sell enough to make the development costs back? And is it worth confusing the public even more with yet another pointless revision? I doubt it really.

No it maybe that it's not worthy of buying to current PSP owners but I never owned one in my life and I'm interested. It's worth it to me.
If you think this is a wasted revision of PSP take a look at DSi, even worse.

I like how 80% of the replies in this topic are all based on the fan art, rather than the actual article and the word "RUMOR" in the topic title.

Chances are it is just a rumour, and I doubt anything big will be unveiled at E3.

Ahh it's a rumour by one of the most respectable sources, I think this can be trusted and I based it off the fan art because it was used on every single forum with this PSP 4k thread on, and since they said this wasn't far from the official design I'm guessing it's like this.
Just hope it's not flimsy and uncomfortable.

Dont get me wrong, I think the DSi is the most pointless thing ever, but any DS revision is pretty much guaranteed to fly off the shelves at the moment. Even if it doesnt Nintendo are making crazy profits right now so its worth them taking the time, expense and risk at bringing out a pointless redesign. Sony however are loosing money everyday, in their gaming divisions and pretty much all others too. Instead of spending resources and time bringing out a slidey screen PSP 4000, they are better off just investing that cash on securing new IP's and developers for the system. That way they can interest the people, like myself, who are waiting for a reason to buy a PSP but dont, for the simple fact that there arent enough good quality games out for it to justify the purchase.

No source is trustworthy when it comes to rumours.

No fan art is ever close to official design, either.

Guessing is what causes rumours like this to escalate, so don't even bother. Just wait until something is actually announced before giving it merit to be discussed.

@Psionic Roshambo i didn't go amd for one specific reason, the AI performance is way behind nvidia
    +1

    i just got a 4070ti
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
oh yeah also DLSS is a pretty solid reason to go nvidia since fidelityfx is kinda crap
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
and now with the rtx video upscaling, and sdr->hdr conversion, even more reason to go nvidia
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
both of which work well in potplayer
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
amd is a bit cheaper though
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Cheaper and they are less stingy with the RAM not a big issue now but I can imagine in a yard or two things might be different
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
    Year not yard lol
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
the vram is one advantage when it comes to AI but ends up being slower even with that and really AI is the only use case that needs more than 12gb vram right now
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
    Interesting lol
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I think I watched a video where two games at 4K where eating just over 16GB of RAM and it's the one case where the 7900XT and XTX pulled ahead (minus RTX of course)
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
So my opinion is that they could age a bit better in the future, and maybe AMD will continue improving them via drivers like they tend to do. No guarantee there but they have done it in the past. Just a feeling I have.
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
cyberpunk at 4k without DLSS/fidelityfx *might* exceed 12gb
    +1
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
but that game barely runs at native 4k
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I think it was some newer games and probably poorly optimized PS4 or PS5 ports
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
they definitely will age better but i feel dlss might outweigh that since it looks about as good as native resolution and much less demanding
    +1
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
When I played Cyberpunk on my old 2080 Ti it sucked lol
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
AMD could introduce something comparable to DLSS but nvidia's got a lot more experience with that
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
least amd 7xxx has tensor cores which the previous generations didn't so there is the potential for AI upscaling
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
They have FSR or whatever it's called and yeah it's still not great
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
so AMD seem to finally be starting to take AI seriously
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Oh yeah those new 8000 CPUs have AI cores built in that's interesting
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Maybe they plan on offloading to the CPU?
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Would be kinda cool to have the CPU and GPU working in random more
