    You know what's bullshit?
All these games are being released for XBLA and not PSN.
Who wants to pay for the game + £40 a year?

Gutted if it is for XBLA only, why alienate masses of fans?
Castlevania is one of my favorite series, SotN being one of the best games ever (imo), releasing this as an XBLA only title stops me from buying it.

Odds are it'll come to the PSN eventually, it'd be very odd of Konami to make it a Xbox exclusive.

All this is still rumor and speculation though.

I think it'd be kinda boring for the wandering parts, but it'd make for some mean boss battles and Boss Rush mode. If they do a good job on the game, odds are it can have some bitchin' co-op.

From the screens (if they are real - I assume they are!) it looks graphically just like the DS-games.

I think Co-Op is a great fit for Castlevania and I think it is a good idea to not have splitscreen, since HD should allow the screen to zoom out quite a bit.

Since exploration would be really hard with 6 Players I think it was a good choice to get rid of the massive worlds of the last Castlevanias and to have something like arenas with a boss, that has to be reached...

I think this should be a neat little departures from what we are used to from the series and I`m already very interested on how this`ll turn out!

BTW: The Artstyle looks amazing (But it also already did in Ecclesia)

Are there any other pictures besides that title screen? The post at NeoGAF makes it sound like there are other pictures.

Those are some nice pictures, but that's because everything is just ripped off from the DS games (I spy a Gergoth).
Sadly, I was actually hoping this would be the fourth DS Castlevania or the first 3DS Castlevania. [IMG]

Whatever happened to good castlevania games, where the enemy was Dracula and the player was a Belmont?

Hmm, as far as I experienced it is a pretty common opinion, that the 2D-Castlevania are one of the best series in gaming and managed to remain a pretty great standard!

The latest three DS-titles scored 89/85/85 on Metacritics, which is really good. If you ask me Castlevania shouldn`t be restricted to just a Belmont fighting Dracula... IMO it is a welcome change if there is a little storyline with a new protagonist!

And for those who like it oldschool there also was a little game called "Castlevania Rebirth" for WiiWare [IMG]

Like I said: this game going to be a pretty big departures from the original Castlevania-formula and I`m really curious if Konami manages to do it right.
