Gaming RUMOR: Beautiful Katamari for Wii

Now it is still just a rumor, but pretty much everything that is unconfirmed at magicbox turns out to be true.

- UNCONFIRMED: Bandai Namco will release Beautiful Katamari and Namco Museum Remix for Wii in November and October 2007 respectively. Beautiful Katamari is the latest work of the Katamari Damacy series, and Namco Museum Remix is a collection of Namco classic arcade games.

After Orange Lounge Radio posted a story about a fourth Katamari Damacy game coming at the end of this year, with extra evidence to back it up, it sounded like a done deal. But that story has been pulled from OLR at the request of Namco Bandai which must mean the story is false.

We're sure that both rental outfits Blockbuster and Gamefly will soon be asked to remove their three listings for Beautiful Katamari and that the United States Patent and Trademark Office will also soon comply.

Then we can all go back to hoping that "more Katamari Damacy games are coming" as Panic's Cabel told us following his recent visit to Bandai Namco Games in Japan and put this whole Beautiful Katamari mess behind us. Michael McWhertor

Me and My Katamari for PSP was okay, but the controls just aren't the same without two analog sticks. I'm anxious to see how this plays on the Wii.

Is it worth trying if you've never played a Katamari title before? Just got a PSP and wondering if I should pick it up or go rent the PS2 original first...

Since when does a company telling a website to remove an article mean it's fake? There are many times companies tell websites to remove information from the site because of it being true but they weren't ready to reveal announce it yet.
