You should probably ask a doctor, instead of an International gaming forum.

It is not that. I always called this thing, "image noise" inside from me. No one can hear my image noise. Like high pitch sound. mmm sound. Many things.

If you want to ask a question like this, ask a doctor. Even if you don't need one, ask a doctor. We do not know. A doctor would know. None of us are doctors.

I had something similar a few years ago. I would hear computer sounds or keypad beeps when no computers or phones would be around. It would come and go. I never seen a doctor. In the end it went away, after a year or so.

Assuming that you're being serious about this problem, there may be a buildup of earwax (or other stuff) blocking your ear canal.
This could account for the sound you hear seeming different and "rumbling".
You may want to have someone take a look in your ear to see if they think there might be a problem.
A nurse may need to use a syringe and warm saline to flush it out.

Source: I temporarily lost hearing in one of my ears due to such a buildup.

Is this "rumbling" on and off on occasion, or is it very frequently? Every couple of days or so, I get this soft, high pitch sound from my left ear, which lasts for only a couple of seconds. My dad gets this too. We joke about it, saying that aliens are trying to contact us. Doesn't hurt, and isn't irritating. It just happens.

Even right now, with my headphones on with no audio playing, I can hear my image-noise or whatever you call it (which isn't the same as what I described above).

In all seriousness, if you are really concerned about it, then you should do what everyone else has said. Go see a doctor and describe the situation as best as you can. It could be a really big problem, or it could simply be a build-up of wax that has narrowed your ear canal to change how sounds get perceived. I know when I take a shower and clear out my ears after they've been gunked up (to the point where I actually start losing my hearing), everything sounds much different for an hour because I perceive sounds differently from it. Might be the same for you, but you won't truly know until someone who has expertise in that field checks it.

Just on and off. It really kinda annoying. *gulp* But I have appointment today for ear doctor. Hope doctor will wipe out all my wax in my both ear and one problem. My left ear is very sensitive because I am not usually clean out my left ear.

Go to a doctor. Also this thread clearly shouldn't be in the EoF!
