Shame, I wish England had won the world cup. [IMG]
Or France (although France wouldn't have deserved to win, they just sucked, look how they got beaten to death by Argentina in the last match)

Anyway, yeah congratulations to South Africa.
I don't remember seeing many south african members around on the forums...

Close but no cigar! [IMG] We did pretty damn well though. Fair play to South Africa though

Didn't follow rugby much but I was quietly hoping they would win and retain the title twice in a row. Then again, the celebration 4 years ago got annoying

I'm not even remotely South African, but I thought they deserved it for their hard work.

England seems to play mediocre at best for 4 years, even in the pool stage of the World Cup, and then step up for finals. I think it was a good effort, but they were still a bit lucky to be there at all after the pool stage. They made a good grand final nonetheless (even if it was tryless).

Still wish my team (New Zealand) had been in the final though - well done on France winning that game, they really stepped up, and NZ played really poorly, so if that's any consolation Costello... [IMG]
