RSS feed email update to Gmail?

I want to subscribe to an rss feed ending in "=rss" and have new additions cause an email alert in my inbox.

Does anyone know how I can accomplish this?

You can get RSS feeds at the top, here

or you can use this site (not sure how good it is, just got it with a quick google) http://www.feedmyinbox.com/

Yeah, I stumbled upon notify.me. seems to be an okay solution.

RSS feeds in google like you recommended don't work if they have an =rss at the end for some reason.
strange that google doesn't have a more integrated solution.
