    It looks really nice!

Some questions: do you know if there's a Phat version? Have you found roms that didn't work? And if I'd put a game on it, could I use it on my GBA or Gameboy Player without the need for a Slot-1 cart (unless I want to change games of course)?

No, it's DS Lite only at the moment which also rules out GBA. It seems that you HAVE to load games through that NDS file as well, you can't just run it as a standalone GBA cart.
I've not tested many games yet, I'll post my full review here when I finish it!

I was about to buy a EZ Flash 3 in 1 but this one looks a lot better. Do you have any idea when online stores like Deal Extreme will stock them?

I don't know, sorry. Try posting on the DealExtreme forum under the 'Product Requests' section.

That kinda sucks... If I understand you right, it's also an impossibility to leave out a Slot-1 cart and run the GBA game on your DS Lite without it [IMG]

Yes, but I don't use my GBA any more so it's not a problem for me. They do make it VERY clear on the box that you can't use it for GBA, BGM, GameCube GBA Player or DS Phat...

OK, thanks a lot for your information [IMG] It looks like I'm not going to buy it. The reasons I wanted another Slot-2 cart is because I have to patch games, I have no rumble pak and I can't link games with, say, the Gamecube. The 3 in 1 still needed patching, so I waited for this one... But it lacks two other features.

Btw, I read it can link with DS games. If that's true, how is that possible?

You load the GBA game then press 'Y' to return to the R4's menu, then you load the NDS game through the R4

I have a EZFIV since I plan on using it for GBA play but the fact that it takes AGES for it to back up the save when you turn it on followed by another wait when loading the rom brings me to this question of how long does it take to load each rom and does it take the same time to save them?

I hope there's one in black to fit with my DS

And yes, there are white, black, pink, light blue and navy blue versions.

Oh well, can't expect speedy loading I suppose.

It's not too bad though I guess. Other flashcarts are pretty slow too; this is because the whole rom must be loaded into the RAM.

It's not bad, it only has to do the patching the first time a game is run ever on your EEP.

How does this cart compare to the Dust Cover that comes with the DS Lite?

If its like the Rumble Pack, it fits very well but isn't shiny.

It's exactly like eWin's Rumble Pak (I own both). Best slot-2 mold I know of, but yeah, not shiny.

It fits flush, as in properly flush. But yeah, it's not shiny... My review should be up in a couple of hours anyway.

Sorry for the double post/bump, but I've put a review up now! The link is at the top of the thread!

Nice review, but I read nothing about the DS Browser compatibility, which it supports as well. You can use the SC patched browser to use it with the EEP.
