Hacking Rom not appearing on my AK2i 1.8.9?

Whats up everyone? I expect a reply to that question I have said "Whats up everyone?" lol just kidding about that... if you want to sure... lol Well anyways, I have a problem finding the rom New Metroid Bros, (a NSMB DS ROM hack) it does not appear on my ak2i.. what do i do to fix this terrible, terrible, TERRIBLE problem? I did Show hidden files in the system options

Maybe you did something wrong with the patching process so repatch it again.
Maybe you also forgot to rename the file with a .nds at the end of the name.

Is it a .nds file?

Did you patch the hack to the game properly?
