    I recieved my acekard 2i in a cardboard box with an acekard 2 logo on it and a sticker on the
    top edge with the words DSi Compatible.Inside The box i only got an ak2i(ill be calling
    it AK2i for the rest of the review).No free card reader no installer cd for n00bs and well only an
    ak2i.That kinda stinks but if the card is top notch who gives a damn about freebies!
    Heres a nice picture of the ak2i box:
    <img src="http://img.diytrade.com/cdimg/404965/7749191/0/1239709174/Acekard_2i_Ak2i_Flash_Card_for_Nintendo_DSi.jpg" border="0" class="linked-image" />

    <!--sizeo:10--><span style="font-size:12pt;line-height:100%"><!--/sizeo--><b>Cart Design And Structure<!--sizec--></span><!--/sizec--></b>

    The ak2i is sadly only available in black(I prefer white carts <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> ).It has a spring loaded
    microSD slot and the unit i recieved was pretty well built but not perfect i need to sometimes
    press it in hard to get it in.Overall its not the greatest build quaility but not the worst
    either <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />.
    The ak2i:

    <!--sizeo:10--><span style="font-size:12pt;line-height:100%"><!--/sizeo--><b>Setting up and using<!--sizec--></span><!--/sizec--></b>

    the ak2i is the same as any other cart just go to the official website(www.acekard.com)
    and download the firmware now just simply drag and drop the akmenu.nds and the
    _aio folder to the root of you microSD card(the ak2i supports SDHC)and your good
    to go!But when setting it up search for a firmware called AKAIO(Acekard All In One)
    Its better compatibility and fixes.
    If you want to learn more about AKAIO go here:
    wiki.gbatemp.net/wiki/index.php/AKAIO

    <!--sizeo:10--><span style="font-size:12pt;line-height:100%"><!--/sizeo--><b>Firmware/GUI<!--sizec--></span><!--/sizec--></b>

    When you power on you Ds it will go to the main Ds menu and an Acekard 2 icon will be
    there after you tap it a breif loading screen will pop up and you will be welcomed with
    3 choices:
    MicroSD-Browse your microsd for roms
    Slot 2-It loads whatever is in The Slot 2
    Flash Memory-Loads from the 1 gb NAND(only in Acekard RPG)
    The overall menu is nice with intercahngable skin and lots of custimization its perfect
    for me <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/yay.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":yay:" border="0" alt="yay.gif" /> .Plus when you move onto a game the icon pumps like a heart beat(looks nice <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" />)
    Acekard AKAIO Menu:

    Oh yes it does.

    For all we know, Rockstar99's review is simply a rephrasing of another.

    so is that free? hmm you paid for that [IMG]

    in this world, there isn't free lunch [IMG]

    There are cards out there, where only one version exists, thats a version with e.g. an usb reader for free!

    You never get anything free...you're paying for everything you get in the box; hell, you're paying for the box too.

    I suspect it's because it's stuck together with glue, whereas other flashcarts might be nailed shut, etc.
