I know, they're a bunch of silly people! EA could've kept it in, I think theres laws that say its ok to parody something. I'm amazed Rockstar wasted time on this when they're actually games out there that completey rip off GTA.

WTF? They need to read up on the law.

A) The only thing Rockstar has copyrighted are the characters in their games and the name. They do not own a copyright on the gameplay. Being called Grand Theft Scratchy does not inflict on the copyright.

B) They are allowed by law to parody. Weird Al doesn't have to ask permission from the artist to parody their songs, but he does anyway out of respect. MAD Magazine parodies everything but doesn't ask. They don't have to!

I heard about this ages ago, I was shocked then, and I'm shocked now. Honestly, for a developer known for having a sense of humor in their games, how come they can't have a sense of humor about their games?
