Given that the X2 and X3 uses the same CX4 chip, there's a high possibility that it will be released in the future as well.
Just give me Star Ocean and Super Mario RPG already. :)
Star ocean will never be on VC. if you wanna play it, there is a rom hack with english translation, or the psp remake from 2008. :D

Some good games i was hoping for was Terraingma, Act raiser for snes, and even Super street fighter 2 Turbo Revival for GBA :)

I dunno why they keep releasing the SNES street fighter when the GBA is just as good if not better with more variety, Also hope it gets Wireless play. :P

Also Terraingam was never released in NTSC Region for USA so i wonder why they don't release it on VC Already.

Might as well wait for the original Star Fox first, the first one haven't been released yet.
Been waiting for the F-Zero on Wii U, that's when i will buy it.
I think there is like to f-zero games on wii u already, I have the snes one, not sure about the N64 or GBA but i know the GBA one is already on 3ds :P

But i want the new one. The last F-Zero was like ten years ago. If you're talking about SNES, the 3DS has one too.
Even WipeOut were nothing like it. I like F-Zero more than WipeOut. :D

HOLY FUCKING SHIT YES!!! I can finally play Kirby's Dreamland 3 on my 3DS at full speed!!

Never mind, Megaman X2 uses the Cx4 chip, not the SA1 like KD3. RIP hype. :( (At least I can play some more Megaman X on the go.)

From what I remember, Rock/MegaMan X2 used Capcom's own enhancement chip, separate from Nintendo's Super FX chip. The only reason they put it in the game was to render the Sigma Final Battle, and a Side Boss in Magna Centipede's stage.

Still, this is good news. They should be able to emulate games like Kirby Super Star and Super Mario RPG soon, if they can do this.

SMRPG would work regardless if the emulator supports other chips. Both Megaman X2/X3 and SMRPG use the SA1 expansion chip.

Yeah, its use cx4 chip, but we dont know the features this new vc emulator have.... Maybe it CAN run sa-1
We only know when some good soul dump it

I really dont think ninty will do separate vc emulators for each chip

One thing that just occurred to me.... The sound on the 2600 sucked less back then the harsh sound we hear now is from infinitely better speakers we have now, back when the 2600 was new speakers produced a almost muffled sound, like CRTs made old graphics look slightly better.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I wonder if I could recommend that to some emulation devs that perhaps the sound could use some smoothing out to simulate those old TVs
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I think a few of the early systems could benefit from that, at least up to the 8 bit generation, by the 16 bit generation I think TVs had gotten a lot better in almost every way

i dont have an sd card adapter but I have an usb sd card adapter

  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    nvm it does support mine

Just give it a try, but honestly if you have a 3DS you can play DS games without a card just off the internal SD card
