    Think this goes here, unsure.

    This is something i did over at Rockman PM.
    But, after i finally had it with that place i stopped with it.
    I was going to do the X series, but sadly nobody listened or cared of what i said.

    Nevertyless, i tought i let you GbaTemp forum guys toy with it a bit.

    What is it?
    Well, what i did was i changed around with the Yugioh Virtual Desktop files, replaced the images as well as the set file. And voĆla! I made Megaman cards that uses the Yugioh rules!

    It should work to a 99%.

    I do not claim the YVD as my own. This is a edit.

    Why didn't you make an MWS game pack? Then you could create your own set of mechanics.

    YVD is a horrible application. The worst part about being a Yugioh player had to be having to playtest using that piece of shit.

    Hm, this is more of a Magic The Gathering engine. Tough, both of the game rules are the same.
    Also the images are bigger and more clean. I could have Version 2.0 have this engine instead. Thanks Urza.

    Like I said, the game packs enable you to create your own mechanics, so you don't need to waste your time making the game fit into that of another game's.

    Natively no YVD does not support custom set's i have used it enough to figure that out
    First it does not tell you what each token in the syntax does
    |3-Hump Lacooda|70|AST|Beast/Effect|Earth|3||500|1500|If there are 3 face-up "3-Hump Lacooda" cards on your side of the field, offer 2 of them as Tributes to draw 3 cards.|0|

    1 = Name
    2 = ???
    3 = Set
    4 = Type
    5 = Element
    6 = Blank
    7 = Level
    8 = Atk
    9 = Def
    10 = Effect/flavor
    11 = ???

    And it changes for spells and traps

    Nor does it provide a keyfile for creating custom borders for cards Mainly just guesswork that I'm sure kirbypink can attest to

    The fact that you can create new sets, that its unencrypted, and in such an easy to edit format is enough to consider it having "support for custom sets".

    Custom borders are unneeded in Yugioh.

    EDIT: And I think I would know, considering I ran a site dedicated to the various CCG formats for several months.

    Considering how many scripts i made for YVD
    card search
    Custom Card Maker
    Deck Editor that retrieved the info of specific card from the set

    I actually do know more about this subject than you

    So assume you know more than me on this subject if you want but a 100% fact it's false

    And just becuse something isn't encrypted doesn't mean they want you to use custom set's
    Myke left it unencrypted so Jace could add more sets to it easier

    Not to mention myke isn't exactly the best VB programmer

    And btw i was on the YVDX team for a while so um yeah + the xerochat 2.0 team as well

    I think I'm going to leave dinner early, because I'd really rather not fill up on bread.

    Okay, so i downloaded Magic Workstation thinking that this might be better.
    NOT! The damn thing only lets me make 30 cards and duels are restricted to 15mins.
    Freeware my *** it is. [IMG]
    So, i go search for a fix, ala crack,patch you name it. Well, good luck with that... trojans, virsues you name it pops up.
    Unless i find a "key" for this program ima stick with YVD.
