I don't know exactly the price of these downloads on the 360/PS3.. but looks like the package is cheaper than 20 songs on the other systems.. only bad thing is that you can't choose the songs you want.. I think a better idea would be release packs of songs of the same genre or same band..

Well, won't pay for this, but it isn't a bad idea... Still better than not having new songs at all, especially since people already paid a lot for the bundle...

Why is this a bad idea? Seems perfectly reasonable to me.

And at least you don't have to own the original RB to play the expansion.

Would be a decent idea if there was more than two or three decent songs in it. Maybe if we can download the tracks alone, outside the bundle...

It's better than having nothing at all.

I'm happy with picking the songs I want from Rock Band and playing the guitar in GHIII. Current favorite from this pack is 'More than a feeling', though the 'Expert' level is more like 'Hard' in GHIII.

I can't justify the purchase of Rock Band because I don't have a regular group of friends that would allow me to take advantage of each instrument being used.... probably just be me playing guitar if I did buy it...
stupid question: can I use my Guitar Hero controller with rock band if I just want to play the guitar tracks ?

The word is, that on the Wii, that will not be possible.
