Okay so I'm making a Rock Band Custom disc, this is my 3rd attempt (damn does it ever take a long time, and it's confusing!), but the main_0.ark file is a couple MB too big (I'm so pissed at my self for screwing up! [IMG] ). I heard that you can shrink something on the disc

Is there a way I could shrink the disc or something in Wiiscrubber so that the main_0.ark fits? I've never used it before so I'm not sure.

I knew you could make Guitar Hero customs but I was not aware of any Rock Band ones. I would just wait for World Tour to be hacked as it will likely have better support.

Once I get it 90% perfected, I'll be writing and posting a tutorial.

Not sure how to do it, but apparently most games have what they call "rubbish files" which do nothing, just take up space so that the disc becomes 4.37Gb or whatever it is.

I'm using Soft-Chip since I need to use the Rock Band USB Instruments. Soft-Chip only works with 1:1 and not the old decrypted or "patched" games.

I think it should be fine if I scrub it.

I have RB instruments and a mod chip (Wiikey 1), and my Wii def plays scrubbed games. You could always send to me and I will try it out for you [IMG]

You doing the RB customs for the Drumset? or just like the GH customs? Would kill to play GHWT Drums on the RB set, but I dont suppose that would work would it? The GH:WT couldnt tell apart the 4 pads from 5 because im assuming that wasnt built in like the 360?

I'm doing Custom Song Disc, so far It's been going pretty good. I'm one of the first (I think) so I'm testing some stuff out for the Scorehero forums.

Yeah, the 360 had code to detect the rb drums and scale it down, the wii version doesn't unless it has code for the RB2 set which I doubt. Too bad they were too lazy to put the support in.

Hmm, well looks like I completely screwed up with trucha and now have to redump Rock Band. [IMG]

    Lovely

Anyways, If any one has possibly done Wiiscrubbing and GHIII Customs, the reason I was pointed by someone at scorehero said that if a GH custom was too big, they used wiiscrubber. Anyone know?

Not Directly related to the topic but I just discovered that the ACDC Rock Band Track Pack NTSC support the Guitar Hero guitars. So I guess I gots 3 guitars to jam out to ACDC instead of 1. I knew that Rock Band 2 was gonna support bluetooth guitars but didn't expect it in the ACDC Song Pack for RB1.

Used Softchip with IOS37 installed as IOS232.

Ironic Twist.... If loaded with Gamma Loader the Guitar Hero guitars work but as expected the Rock Band peripherals do not as they don't work with any version of Gamma and Rock Band.

So playing Rock Band with no RB Original Disc or Instruments! [IMG]

Yeah, bits and pieces of the RB2 Engine is in the Wii Version of AC/DC apparently, which is cool.

Hmm, I just realized that all Wiiscrubber does is remove garbage files for compression, so this wouldn't be any help to me would it?

I've used Wiiscrubber to scrub games and then up them. Haven't touched Customs though.

Yeah, I'm not sure if it will help me or not. The prob. was that I think ...And Justice For All was too big (40MB!! Green Grass is 30MB so I tried working around that and obviously that didn't work.)
