Meh, just wished they kept more stuff. I mean it's not that bad though. If it's anything like Lego Rock Band it should be good.

Only Ozzy and Joan Jett and maybe Paramore seem to be the only even near good bands.. 3 songs for me, so pretty meh.

I'm always surprised that I hardly know any of the stuff on GH/RB games. And I consider myself an enormous music fan, my music knowledge is way beyond average. I suspect many songs were bigger hits in the US than in Europe.

    This.

Also, yet another music game that has songs from decades ago? Why can't we have something with only recent songs? I mean, I like old songs, too, but this is getting old... (pun intended)

Lego Rock Band had the same amount of songs honestly but it was worth playing for a bit. Career mode + pick up and play value helps.

Have you seen "recent" music? A lot of it sucks. And the good stuff is pretty obscure; mainstream modern music is often crap.

It probably costs more to license the music.

I dont know what people are complaining about. Its a decent set list that should be fun. Isnt that the whole point, fun? Its not like anyone heres gonna pay for it. But I guess this is always the problem when set lists are revealed. Music is so opinionated that its near impossible to please everyone.

Good luck playing Poker Face and Bonkers on a guitar etc.

The key is in the name "Rock Band" All recent mainstream stuff has kinda had this dance backing to it rather than rock. A lot more recent rock is out on the DLC store already e.g. Green Day, The Killers etc.

I think you're forgetting that the DS has no access to DLC. Hence, I wouldn't care whether the songs had already been used or not, and most other people that don't own the console versions of the games wouldn't either.

That said, what you said about playing stuff like Poker Face on a guitar, etc wouldn't actually be a bad idea for a game, really. It'd probably be a bit awkward at first, but I'm pretty sure the game would be quite fun.

    Also, 6000 posts. Bitches.

That was the Guitar Hero DS games, developed by Vicarious Visions. The Guitar Hero DS games were pretty solid, so it'll be interesting to see if Harmonix (Or whoever's in charge of development) can top them. [IMG]

Lego Rock Band DS was okay, but the lack of songs really made me not want to come back for more. Seeing as Rock Band 3 DS has roughly the same amount, I'll probably skip out on this.
