Hacking Rock Band 2 DLC when game loaded from USB drive

Is there anyone out there who has gotten DLC to work properly when Rock Band 2 is played from a USB hard drive, Wii soft modded only, and on System Menu 4? Thanks to Herme's CIOS 222 223 and USB Loader CFG, I got the USB instruments working. The only thing left for perfection is to have DLC loaded without the dreaded out of date error. I play Rock Band a lot, and really want to save wear and tear on the DVD drive.
