I have heard there are some programs that can extract something called wad and dat files from iso's for wii.. but they were a little vague.

I use to edit music for dreamcast games and it worked great (games like marvel vs. capcom 2 & firepro wrestling D!).

So, I'm wondering if there are any solid programs out there for ripping those sound files and putting in my own because i come across games once in a while that have very bad music and i love to put my own stuff.

You can for Brawl, just look around sites like stacksmash or kittycorp. Idk if other games are similar though.
