Gaming Ring fit adventure , can you play without the Ring fit ? Can you make one ?

Well i thought that the Ring fit was just a circular rubber with a strap for the joycon , but without the Ringfit i'm unable to bypass the introduction video .
Can you play the game without the original RingFit ? And if you can , how did you achieve it ?

The ring con is more than just a rubber band it has sensors in it that detects how hard you are squishing it ect and that plays a key part in the ring fit adventure game. So yes the ring con is very much needed to play the game.
I thought that it test how hard your squishing by pressing the left and right button somehow , well is good to know that the game without the RingFit is useless

I came across a picture on this Chinese site and it looks like there is an actual sensor inside that ring :

It's the first time I see a controller getting attached to a joycon so it will be some time until someone figures out how the joycon communicates with it.

A sensor to detect 'flexing' isn't that difficult to get by these days :
