I share my experience if someone have the same problem with the save file, when i tried to copy the save from the SD to the Wii it always fails so i try to use wiixplorer to copy the file directly to the Wii NAND and it worked... but make the wii unstable and freezes ( i guess is because dont have the ticket or key) when i access the save data in the configurations so i delete it and the wii works good again. So now i see the option of wiiflow and i do it but the first time dont work so i try again but in the game config in wiiflow i set the game language in japanese and activate the Country string patch and run the game, wait for the crash and bingo i could transfer the savedata.

@MetalMarZ Hi i recommend you to re write your post in english, the rules of the web dont allow other language, now about the strange letters you need to pass a special save from the SD to the wii nand to correct that problem.

    Thank you draxikor.

I may add this message shows metalmarz is using an old version of the patch, since I translated the message about the save file.

Anyway, most people get a crash at first attempt and are then able to copy the save file to the wii after the ticket is created.

Metalmarz, please let me know how it went!

Sorry, what happens is that I speak Spanish, I translated the text to English but chrome changed it again while I was pasting the text hahaha. ok i didn't get the game iso anywhere. only .wbfs already patched to english. the thing is that I run the game with USB Loader GX and there is no way to get past the screen of the damn symbols. I need advice:

    * I have the ikenie wbfs already patched and on the usb.
    * Saved in wii nand system ok!
    * in GX loader configurations (v1272):
    -force: ntsc
    -language: Japanese --vidtv activated etc.
    -no nunchuck is connected!
    -ios 249 (56) or noting...

What am I missing for the game to launch on GX? What am I doing wrong? why
PS: CFG usb loader if it works smoothly, so the game is not the problem.
As BNM said; maybe it is due to the old patch since I do not pass the symbols whatever I do! Y.Y

EDIT : I didn't realize you could boost the game with CFG (forgot it was a loader too). Well then it's probably more of a USB Loader configuration issue than a patch problem. Good to know. I'll come back tonight and tell you my personal settings, but if everything fails at least you'll have the CFG option.

When using the latest patch is usually better, that shouldn't be the issue here, since it's just a translation. It would help however to know which error message you're getting, since it would give us indication about what's wrong. So I advise you to repatch nevertheless.

One thing you could do would be to try the iso with dolphin, since later versions of the emulator don't have the issue with the save game file anymore, and see if it boots.

I'm surprised you managed to install the save file on the Wii and still have troubles, so I'll check my usb loader settings back home. I don't think you need anything more than forcing ntsc though... maybe you should set everything to default in game profile, then set "disc by default" and see what it does?

I'll come back to you later. Have a good day.

So I checked my USB Loader GX as promised, and can confirm the only thing that seems necessary to boot the game after the save file has been installed is to force video mode.

Mine is set to force NTSC480P, which is the best setting, but you can try "Disc by default" at first, and see how it goes.

If you still get the error message, please update the patch so you get a translated sentence that can help me to advise you.

    Have a good night.

Thank you very much for being kind enough to help me partner! ^^
I see that you understand what happens to me when I want to launch the game with usb loader GX and I do not blame you for thinking that it is the issue of the nunchuck or the save in the console nand. (I make it clear that I only play on the Wii console).
I can't get the clean .Iso rip game in Japanese, you can only get the .wbfs already patched into English.
-Can the .wbfs file be patched?
-I agree with what you say about updating the patch so that it works in usb loader GX. now the question is:
-Can I update by patching the .wbfs file I have? (The folders in case I put them in the root sd). Yes you can. Could you explain more briefly how to do it? since I did not understand very well how to translate it.

It is as you say, install the save file and I am surprised that it still malfunctions, as if I had not taken it on the GX! maybe the old patch has conflict with this loader ...
Thanks again and we continue chatting!

Actually I use WBFS copy of my disc myself.

You have two options to patch a WBFS : you either use WWT (https://wit.wiimm.de/wwt/) and replace "wit" with "wwt" in the patching procedure, or you use "Wii Backup Manager", and follow the procedure I described in the "readme" to convert a WBFS to ISO.

Remember you can download the patch (with readme attached) at the following address: https://www.dropbox.com/s/5xxx0j629qabcye/V0102 Ikenie No Yoru English Translation.zip

Please publish a picture of the error message translated and we'll see what we can do.

    Have a nice day.

    Hi! How are you?
This is very strange for me since the save is imported to the wii nand and this message should not appear ... As I showed you previously in the photo, this is done but it seems that you do not recognize it ...
My version of usb loader gx is 1272 mod.

    — Posts automatically merged - Please don't double post! —

I only intended to play it in GX because it is currently considered the best loader, more complete, configurable and aesthetic today ... having the games with their respective covers and banners etc.

@MetalMarZ Are you using emunand save in USB loader GX?

just copy the save to the original wii nand. in the loader is the option to extract to the emunand but nobody told me to use that ... do we have to?

Not really but that could be the problem if you are using that option. But i think the game ticket was not created correctly.

In the images that I showed you will see that the save is already on the Wii ...
I don't know what that could be about the game ticket since it can be played in another loader but my goal was to play it in GX ...

That's weird indeed that you can play the game with other loaders, but I'd suggest to delete the save game and do a fresh install anyway.

Maybe you imported the save game with Save Game Manager, when you should just copy it from the SD card (the "Save Game Manager" version was here for Dolphin, but it's not necessary anymore since newer versions of the emulator don't have the "save game" issue).

Or, if you did copy from the SD card and it failed twice, then you can try using Save Game Manager instead, which should be a good way to check if the ticket was created correctly, since it won't copy the save game otherwise?

So to summarize, please delete the save game and start from scratch by copying the one in the zip file to your SD card, then Wii.
If it fails, try to rely on Save Game Manager using the other copy I provived.

Let's hope it works. If it doesn't and the game boots with CFG, then it's a USB Loader issue. Since I know for a fact you can use it, maybe try the "regular" version instead of the mod?

    Keep us informed. :)

First of all, thank you for continuing here with me discussing this matter.^^

As I had mentioned, just copy the private folder from the sd tab to the wii as you can see in the images. He hadn't tried a program. and as for changing the save file for another I already did. just like game, also download another new and different ikenie from other source.
    * Please note: I thought it was a good suggestion to try the save game manager and verify the game ticket!
    * I just downloaded the normal gx 1272 out there from the scene and it gave me the same result.

(It only remains to try the save game manager since copying and deleting from the sd to the wii I am tired of Xd)

Yes, please try save game manager. In the meantime I'll put my own usb loader configuration file online so you can use it (make a save file of your own first! You never know!)

If nothing works... well... I think we can exclude the patch since otherwise it would not work on cfg either. But I think draxikor has a good point. You might be relying on virtual nand at some point, which would mean usb loader doesn't see the save file on the real nand .

Let's hope my configuration file solves the issue. I'll send it to you when I'm back from work (its 8.00AM in France)

    WE DID IT! ^ 0 ^

First of all I'm going to tell you everything I did:

    * save game manager: I extracted the save from the wii to the hdd because it occurred to me ...
    * I extracted and compressed the sd
    * I entered the loader and I set to extract the emunand.
    * Launch the game from usb loader GX and it worked!
    * then to test: delete the extractions and copies and just leave the wii as usual, also delete the sd folder with numbers, data and everything else.
    * Launch the gx loader with your channel and from homebrew channel too, ikenie works anyway !!
the game kept launching !!! joy! surely it is as you said, required that the ticket be made correctly !!!

    * I personally believe that the option to extract the emunand worked. don't you agree too? since I was only manipulating the save that already existed in the wii and it did not seem like the great solution ...

Thank you very much for continuing to help me and all the advice. I would leave this humble opinion in case other people need to launch the game from usb loader gx and have the same problem ^. ^
Colleague I remind you that in the usb loader cfg the game ran with the basic tutorial without any problem!
Ikenie no Yoru runs in all loaders! ^^
I'll keep playing later to see if it doesn't freeze or something like that. Thank you very much for giving me so much support!

(In Argentina it's very late, it's 3:40 am hehe. I'm going to sleep happy)
