One of the best gba games.
Why this was never released outside of Japan? WHY?
Here I have the soundtrack but I don´t know if it´s legal to post something to grab it.

Holy crap! A GBA game as arcade machine?! [IMG] Rhythm Tengoku deserves it, though. [IMG]

Is there an English translation around for the GBA game?

I know it's playable without knowing Japanese, some English would help me figure out what the hell is going on half the time though [IMG]

It's not too bad if you memorize the symbols. [IMG]
    Man, I love that song.

Yeah I memorized the symbols, it's just the timing on that thing is nazi >_<

I'm seriously considering having a look at the rom's format to see if this thing is translatable.

The game definately deserves a translation... There is quite a lot of text in the game but I think it's worth doing [IMG]

Looks like some of the text at least is simply stored with Shift_JIS encoding:
If you go to offset 553D5 you can find the lyrics (in English) to the karate song from the first stage.

Edit: Script begins at 4F384 or thereabouts.
If anybody wanted to attempt a translation I'm sure many people would be very pleased [IMG]
I've just given you your starting point, what are you waiting for? [IMG]

I don't think anyone really needs a translation to enjoy it...

Of course not, but it'd still be nice to have one would it not [IMG]?

Well, as long as it doesn't remove translators from more important projects like Mother 3 and Gyakuten Saiban, ok. [IMG]

I doubt anyone is still working on GS games since it's pretty certain that Capcom is going to localize all of them. Mother 3 on the other hand.... when will we ever see that patch released!? T_____T

Rhythm Tengoku should be much, much, much easier to patch though, compared to M3 or GS.

This is great news, but sadly, U.S. arcades suck. [IMG]
