Just got a RGH on my slim. Using Xiso-GUI V1.0.0.7 (unless there is something better???). The question is about naming/renaming games on the hard drive. I have run into a few ISO`s not extracting (error) so I have renamed a few folders as a work around, but now the games list is showing a duplicate game. Is there a process after extracting the iso`s AND renaming them AND scanning them correctly in FSD?
And I am renaming them to keep better track of which are on the HDD.

Xbox 360 image browser is the answer.
Also, take a look at this.

Personally, I prefer everything internally as it's quicker (USB VS SATA)

Question. That is quicker to load the game, i know...But to load textures, depth of field IN GAME, has differences?

-Also, some few games on usb/hd do have slowdowns, when, loaded from dvd dont (like The last remnant) (.

    Yes.
The faster it gets loaded in, the better.
SATA has more bandwith then DVD/USB.

Did you install The last remnant?
Cause installed games only use the DVD for verification.

Keeping related to my original question and not to start a new thread...........is upgrading the external HDD (wanting to move to a bigger size) just as easy as copy/paste everything from one drive to the other? I have done this but I can't get any of the games to show up in FSD on the "new" HDD. Am I missing a step besides scanning and making sure the path is still correct?

    Is it FAT32?
Have you checked the scanpaths, making sure their correct?
    Tried manual scan?

Yes, Yes and Yes......checked and double checked.
Its a straight 1-1 HDD copy.

Just thought I`m missing some other step?

    Hmm odd.
Reset the scanpaths, see if that fixes it.
