Yes and no. It's a parody mixed with a gengar.

I just tried Duke Nukem Critical Mass, and I must say this game is the WORST EVER!!! You don't believe me? Try it yourself and see if your thoughts are any different from mine

anyway to have ysmenu on m3 real without booting an nds file
Natively Working (Replaces ORIGINAL Firmware) :
M3Real/M3Simply/M3iZero - www.m3adapter.com -> Just copy files (Use M3Real_M3iZero YSMenu folder)

So I think you just need to remane YSMenu.nds just like the name of your bootable.

-formate or delete all the files on your sd card.
-copy all rgf files for m3 to your sd
-delete the ysmenu(? or somethink like this).nds file
- put your games nds to the root on the card
-put the sd card to your m3 real and start your nds
now it whill start with ysmenue and the dats from rgf
if you what play every new game, you have to wait for updates from retrogamefan or you can search for updates on loda.jp/dsm/ or thomethink else.
you can oplay a lot of games with this dats. but for for probliems with ap, you better wait for fixes from rgf or thomethink else

There generally is no need to tell me that a certain game isn't working as I am aware of which games are not currently working.

noob question but what does extinfo.dat,infolib.dat and savlib.dat do since they seem to increase in file size evry update?
Those files store what's needed for the games to load - basically the loader of the DSTT. It increases in each update because each update adds more compatibility to newer games.

I don't remember what each file stores in order to make the games work, though. Ask a pro for that info

They are what's used to bypass the anti-piracy and load games...extinfo is usually for AP, infolib is usually for booting the game, and savlib is obvious for the saves (save size I think).

I hope someone can help me here... I have a R4-III Revolution Upgrade - www.r4dsl.net, and I used the files on the R4_Clone YSMenu (mainly for Okamiden and Ghost Trick).
I formatted and copied everything along with the old firmware, but when I run a game in the YSMenu thing, it gets stuck on some white screens after loading the game, no matter what game it is (I mean that old ROMs that get supported by the original firmware don't work either).
So, can anyone help me? I've gone through the process twice and I haven't found a solution yet, thanks a lot for your help.

Thank you Retro for enabling this excellent firmware options!!

After buying a m3i zero gmp-z003 and learning about the restrictions that where placed into it I got more and more disappointed since the lack of updates from M3 makes the card worthless these days

.

This morning I remembered that I still had an R4SDHC card somewhere lying around

Found it and after formatting the whole sdhc card following your instructions everything works fine now.

@SylverReZ if you could find a v5 DS ML you would have the best of both worlds since the v5 units had the same backlight brightness levels as the DS Lite unlockable with flashme

i think only the red mario kart edition phat was v5

A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

anyways, we need to re-normalize physical media

if i didn't want my games to be permanent, then i'd rent them

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.
  • AncientBoi @ AncientBoi:
    I don't pirate them, I Use Them :mellow:. Like I do @BigOnYa 's couch :tpi::evil::rofl2:

  • cearp @ cearp:
@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM
  • cearp @ cearp:
You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:
  • cearp @ cearp:
still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm
  • rqkaiju2 @ rqkaiju2:
i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds
  • cearp @ cearp:
It's nice to not have to have a lot of physical things though, saves space
