How did you do that? Is there a guide?Hello ^^,
I've just discovered how to play online with RetroArch, I'm very surprised how it's easy to do Oo, I tried Super Bomberman 3 on SNES with two Wii U, one with Haxchi and the other one with Aroma, and that works ! Other cores work with netplay with Haxchi version ^^.
I recommande to play online with RetroArch if you don't know that ^^.
. Run the game you wantHow did you do that? Is there a guide?.
So is it possible to play online from Wii U to Wii U via NetPlay?. Run the game you want
. Press the button Home
. (If you can't see Netplay, press the B button and on the left) you can see Netplay
If you want to be the host :
. On Netplay select host
. Start Netplay host
. In order to know what's your number xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx host, return to Main Menu and select Information, then click Network information
. Finally resume the game, the game restarts (it's normal).
If you want to connect to Netplay host :
. On netplay select Connect to Netplay Host
. Enter the xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx number host with who you want play and press start button. The game restarts (it's normal).
(you can see who play with "Refresh Netplay Host List").
Not all core work with Netplay, for example "SNES / SFC (Snes9x)" works ! You must try the core you want and see if it works !
(You can see videos on YouTube, search "retroarch netplay wii u").
Have fun ^^.
Yes, it's possible to play online from Wii U to Wii U via netplay, it's possible from Wii U to an Android phone with RetroArch... I don't know with a PC...So is it possible to play online from Wii U to Wii U via NetPlay?
Is it possible to do this from Wii U with someone playing on PC?
I thought there were still a lot of bugs, like the game sound being out of sync.
I tried with retroarch with no luck (Maybe I'm missing something). How do you get usb hid controllers working for retroarch (aroma) ?
Can't seem to find any even though I have the configs.
I don't think MK Plus is supported by regular MAME, it needs its own custom fork.First Thank you to everyone working on this. I got MKII+ and UMKIII+ running. only problem with those is when I try to savestate on MAME(Midway) it says savestates not supported. Anyone know if / which version of Mame has savestates enabled for MKII?????
A problem I have encountered is that if I have a blackscreen or dump screen it nearly always corrupts RA from starting again, so I am constantly deleting my retroarch folder and having to start fresh.
Would be sweet if we could inject just the needed retroarch skeleton and core and rom and have individual RA injects of games, even better if it that functionality was melded into UWUVCI (perhaps just a christmas wish)
Also I saw @ploggy somewhere on here using RA to play Killer Instinct! not sure it was the Arcade version or not. I would love to know what your rom structure looks like and what core you were using if it was.
Merry Christmas!!!
MKII plus and UMK3 indeed run on the mame 2003(midway) core on ploggys latest link. Mame2003 won't load it. Mame 2009 will load it but it runs very slow After you patch the rom remove the "p" from mk2p to mk2 and it works just no savestatesI don't think MK Plus is supported by regular MAME, it needs its own custom fork.
Yes.Is there a way to play PS1 games over retroarch on the Wii U? I didn't feel like scrolling through 700+ pages.
what do you mean "it didnt work properly"?How do you? I tried pcsx rearmed and it didn't work properly. I was unable to download Swanstation as well.
