Actually I found another SD:/ path that needed changing :P

Try this one (fingers crossed)
Ok, this is getting closer. So ok, I will makeup a senerio to where this will make sense. So boot a game, any game, and say you want to copy that game to another floppy disk. When the game starts, hit R, or whatever you have mapped to open Atari800 menu. Open Disk Management. You will see that your game is loaded on D1: floppy drive. And say you have a blank floppy file, I want to copy that game to. Select D2: to mount that file. The difference you just made is the top reads as "fs:/vol/external01" where it used to say "sd:" But you can select fs and it gives an error saying "Cannot enter selected directory" at the bottom. That should take you directly to my problem. But if you can't figure it out, don't shake it too much.

Thanks for the steps :) That was definitely the last of the SD:/ paths that needed changing but since its still not working I think it's getting out of my skillset to fix :P
I would suggest making an issue on the Atari800 repo but since none of this Aroma stuff is merged yet it would be pointless.

Does this work on PC RA? if it doesn't then you can make an issue and when it gets fixed it should be fixed for WiiU too?

Hi guys quick questions about RA:

- The homebrew store update takes more than 1-2 hours, is that normal?

- why doesn't RA remember my settings? For example i change controller buttons and add turbo button or change display filter or languagechange. But after closing and reopening it all seems to be gone again

Retroarch Aroma isn't on the Homebrew Store so if you want the latest builds grab the WIP build from the link from my signature.. but if your using Tiramisu Retroarch your better off using the Online Updater to update your Cores.

When it comes to the controller changes - you can use the "Manage Remap Files" option, that will save you controller changes.
For other changes - You can use the "Overrides" option, there you can save per Game or Whole Core Override.

(Both options can be found when when in the Ingame Menu) :)

Is there a way to change the icon of Retroarch for aroma? In other words, I would like to know how to change the icon of wuhb's homebrew software.

@ploggy do you know if some control mapping are in se core libretto? I guess that “mame menu” has different button map when run mame2003 plus or mame2009. When I change inside Mame menu I can’t save it

Mame2003 invoke name menu with ZL and Mame2009 ZR.
Mame2003 accept Butron is A and cancel button is B while Mame2009 accept button is ZR and cancel button is other

Would you mind review Mame 2009 to lest equal Mame2003 and recompile it?

Thanks. Updating RA made my changes saveable it seems and i could do the remapping. Another question

I have a fake switch controller connected via bloopair. I want to press R3 for fast forward toggle. But the hotkeys settings won't accept the button press of my switch controller. I can only do the button press combination, but sadly there is no sucjoption for fast forward hotkey. Any ideas?

I just compile the Cores , I wouldn't know how to change the menu mapping :P

Sounds like a Bloopair issue since the controller is 3rd party, best to ask there.

While I don't know how to change icons in WUHB files (probably only the guy creating them in the first place can), I agree. Not a big fan of the icon.
Would love to see this one instead which is also the one I'm using for the forwarder on my Nintendo Switch:

Here you go @lordelan try this...

For anyone else who wants to make their own wuhb file:
You'll need to download a tool called wuhb packager - https://github.com/Nightkingale/WUHB-Packager
Download Devkit Pro - https://devkitpro.org/wiki/Getting_Started
Once you have Devkit Pro installed, navigate to where its installed (in my case C:/Devkitpro) then open mysys2/mingw64.exe
Type - pacman -Syu wut-tools this will install the needed stuff to run wuhb packager, then all you need to do is run wuhb packager and add your images and rpx :D (I've added the needed Retroarch.rpx to the zip too)

this core mame core is cool but need more atentation and a aroma version in future because offcially this core run more games of the mame 2003
Mame2009 is a dead Core, the devs wont be working on it anymore, best would be to have one of the newer Mame Cores on WiiU.. but they dont compile :/

I actually rely mostly on mame 2003 plus is it compatible?
I love mame but it's a headache to run, everytime I go through my romset and update them to make sure everything runs well, the next day many games just stop working.

I just tried it in Tarimasu. When I'm in Disk Management and I press on D2:, it opens the sd: immediately. So it works there. Why does it not display fs:/vol/external01? Weird science. I'll open up a ticket on his github you linked.

Hmm, there must be something else that needs adjusting then in the Cores source to be Aroma compatible :/ I just dont know what it is :P
@Vague Rant, any idea what's going on here? all the sd: paths have been changed to sd:/vol/external01 but it still doesn't seem to be able to enter the new directory?
You can see the files that I changed here - https://github.com/libretro/libretro-atari800/pull/101
Perhaps it will need to be made variable like the Hatari core?
The steps to reproduce the issue is here

Its pointless making an issue on the Atari800 repo, not only hasn't the Aroma Core changes been merged yet, the main Aroma RA PR hasn't been merged.. Best to wait until they have both been merged before making issues about it.

The Mame2003 Plus core should be fine, its just the 2009 Core hasn't been worked on for years.

In fbneo_libretro.info it said that if device powerfull enought prefer fbneo instead of FBalpha 2012, do you think it's the case ?
By the way, I get black screen with Fbalpha 2012 with sound in the background, and picture plus sound with Fbneo. Same with PCE fast and PCE can't figure why
