I'm on a Mac Pro running Sierra, using RetroArch 1.40 Stable. I can get all my NES/SNES/Genesis/GBA/PSX games scanned no problem (by "scanned", I mean clicking on the + icon and choosing '"Scan Directory" so I have all my ROMs for a selected system listed vertically under the correct systems logo).

BUT, whenever I try to scan my ~100 MAME ROMs only 5 or so ever show up. It does this for mame2003/0.78, and for FBAlpha/0.175 (think I tried it on an old mame4all/0.78? romset at one point too). All my ROMs are verified with clrmamePro, and I can load a ROM manually and it'll play in the correct core - they just won't show up under the MAME icon after a scan.

Anything to try? I have to get this to work so I can steal the .lpl library file and use it on my Vita (which is having it's own scanning problems).
