PPSSPP kind of barely works on Switch before overclocking, Vita processor has less than half the power and does not have a chance in hell. So get cozy with Adrenaline if you want your PSP games, because that's the only option this system will ever get.

Does it work for psvita in retroatch? .. Has anyone ported it to retroarch for psvita?

I am on 3.71 with no interest to downgrade everything works on my vita (SD2VITA/ All emulators / PS1 games) only thing I'm missing is the PSP. I was told adrenaline doesnt support 3.71

downgrade to 3.65 is painless with modoru modded version, h-encore 2 will keep work, no need to reinstall, just reinstall henkaku and then, enso to have it permanent.

will take not even 15 minutes to do all this, possible even less then 10.

Is the gpsp not saving bug already solved?
What I mean by that is when for instance playing donkey Kong country I have to start from scratch every time unless I do a state save (which is not the same as in game save)

I'm on the fence about buying a Vita before they vanish and these latest gpsp dynarec developments might push me over. Wondering if its in a good place now or if it needs more work and has stalled.

downgrade to 3.65 is painless with modoru modded version, h-encore 2 will keep work, no need to reinstall, just reinstall henkaku and then, enso to have it permanent.

will take not even 15 minutes to do all this, possible even less then 10.

You are using gl1 video driver. Change to vita2d

Hey how do you guys get your retro arch to show the console icons with the games showing below my retro arch has zero skins and each time I load a rom I have to go.to search for each game in my directory

You need to extract the additional data files to your retroarch directory if you haven't already, not just install the vpk.

I ended up downgrading to 3.60

I noticed I was indeed using vita2d and well, it changes nothing. FF6 still running slow. Frames drop as soon as the wind start blowing in the intro and the mechs appear.

Are you overclocking? For Retroarch, you'll need the 500 clock to iron out any last games that dont run full speed on GBA.

I hate overclocking. Makes your battery last less and less in the future. Makes it die faster.

Well that's the trade off you have to make to get full speed. The vita at normal clocks isn't enough for certain things, and full speed emulation of GBA is one of them.

Plus, overclocking does nothing to your battery apart from make it drain SLIGHTLY faster.

I've had my vita permanently overclocked for over a year and the battery still holds a full charge. And plus, if your battery does pack up in a year or twos time, just buy another?

Finally got a Vita and my god is gPSP impressive. Won't launch Iridion II and the gameboy audio is a little off but otherwise great playing games at fullspeed with sharp scaling that makes 3DSes weep.

Should have no problem using .chd Format Images.
