I believe RA Genesis Plus GX has 99.9-100% compatibility for all libraries it supports...SG-1000, Master, GG, Gen/MD, CD.
I know there are a few Genesis aftermarket/homebrew games the RA cores do not support but RA PicoDrive does support, "Demons Of Asteborg" is one of those titles and at least a few others i don't remember atm.
If i am being honest, i consider this a "broken game" issue when games cannot be played on any given emulator dedicated to specific console(s).
This happens with many other NES, SNES, Atari 2600, Colecovision etc... emulators as well. The PicoDrive RA emulator is an excellent example here, it plays all 32X games i have tested 100% and it supposed to support Genesis, Master, GG, SG as well, but that just is not the case. One does not have to boot many games from the Genesis/Mega Drive catalogue to find PicoDrive does a very poor job of emulation other than 32X.
My point here is, i have never come across a genuine Genesis game wether it be USA, PAL, Japan, Korea that does not work with RA Genesis Plus GX. There is a reason games are classified "Hacks", they are exactly that. I have played hundreds (maybe over 1000) hacks and translations from several different platforms and can honestly say that maybe 40-50 are worthwhile, but that is just my opinion
Ok. I was not aware of these mods. They are not what i expected and are pretty sweet i must say.
I did test using GX standalone and everything works great, i even converted the .wav files to .ogg and working perfect.
You are correct RA-SS Sega cores (all 3) do play the games and have sound effects but no music...bummer.
I then tested with RA 1.8.8 GX and RA PicoDrive Retro with same result, sound but no music. As a last resort i tested RA 1.10.3 GX Wide which is included in the Frankenstein release and it works 100%.
I am not sure why the issue exists in the other cores or when & what was fixed, just know the RA 1.10.3 Genesis Plus GX Wide supports these MD+ mod releases.
The Geolith core does work but only for very small games. Even on small games, it is very slow and not playable.
@SaulFabre made this core possible along with others. While we all know they cannot run full speed or playable on the Wii. It is not an attempt to fool anyone, rather an example of what the Wii can do in infantile emulation stage.
The best example would be N64, then PS1. Two very different forms of emulation and N64 to this very day not emulated well on current $1000 PC.
Without losing focus, Neo Geo is 100% full speed, the entire library, using RA FBA Neo core or SS FBA Neo core. Geolith runs on my PC 100% full speed but the Wii does a better job!!!

I had imagined a little. It will support large rom without cache. My bad!
Another problem: My favorite are tankfrce, pbobble4. I checked your Mame 2003 plus.txt, it is compatible but i couldn't load game, pbobble4 load but laggy slow speed (my rom 0.78).
I am downloading your Mame 2003 set 1.35GB. I will try again when it's finished.
Update: Tank Force, Knight of Valour worked with your mariocube rom.
hello. There is no menu like in the mame games released since mame2003, for example. You can enter the bios (there are 3 bios menus) and select the difficulty, cheats, etc. in the video from minute 11.25. You enter by pressing the action buttons on the controller (it depends on how it is configured in the emulator, I have it for an arcade stick and I adapted it to the arcade controller, so the buttons change. The combo must be entered when starting the game when the game exits. unibios screen) in a video on my channel I explained it (put English subtitles to understand it). all the best
For Hexaco SS Game Boy standalone, as long as the .png file is 640x480 it will center correctly. Also the .cfg name must match the .png name identical, use one of my .cfg as an example if you haven't done this before.
Here are more adds for GBC SS-Hexaeco, they have replaced GBC 2 folder from Bezel pack. Hope you like...
I'm sorry, i did not quite understand the question. I don't think that is possible with RA or SS.
WiiFlow Lite is a beautiful front end for all Wii emulators including SS-Hexaeco and RA that displays full boxart, snaps, and cart art. Many of us here have put a lot of time and effort into the project. If you haven't done so already you should check it out to see if it is something you want to set up.
1. Set up latest WiiFlow Lite.
2. Download and install the latest WiiFlow Plugins Pack.
3. Download cover art amd install to SD or USB.
If you need any help, there are at least a few of us on this thread that can provide answers through the WFL thread, Plugins Thread, Cover Collections threads.
I'll link you to my main page where you can find all downloads i host...
Now testing my Hexaeco scanlined.png overlays, i have noticed an issue. I don't believe this is my error but a SS-Hexaeco issue or limitation.
I will investigate further tomorrow...the normal 640x480 scanline overlays work correctly but when any border/bezel is added to scanline.png, a few dark/black spots are created during gameplay. Very bizarre behaviour.
Many of the retro cores @SaulFabre has recompiled are included in the Frankenstein RA pack. This set up is the best available RA cores packed onto a single release to work In conjunction with one another.
The SS-Hexaeco Mod pack available is basically the same as Frankenstein. Although these cores are not being updated any longer they offer stability, a cleaner interface than RA, and the ability to properly use overlays/bezels.
I have made dedicated standalone setups for many of these individual cores for that exact purpose, "To be dedicated to one individual platform" with its own forwarder channel.
Frankenstein and Hexaeco both have their own channels if you want to go that route. Here is what i currently have installed...
Frankenstein - Always Installed
Hexaeco - Always Installed
Neo Geo CD RA standalone
Sega 32X RA standalone
......
I have installed all the standalone(s) at one point or another but the list above is what i stick with. It is all personal preference but if you want my recommendation, Frankenstein and Hexaeco full setups should be installed if nothing else.
Many updates for standalone emulators including...
Atari 2600
Game Boy / Color
Seper Nintendo
ZX Spectrum
Intellivision RA FreeIntv core was also added as a standalone. Forwarder channels are done and available for download. I did not test the vWii INTV channels so if you have issues, please post.
All my RA releases now have libretro_wii.dol and boot dol included. This has fixed issues where the forwarder channel would sometimes black screen and hang. It also fixes some emulator/cores not being able to boot more than 1 game per play session.

Another minor fix for RA-Frankenstein...
MAME 2003+ cores i have found now have issue keeping hi scores. I do not remember this ever being an issue but maybe i have forgotten and it always needed the work around.
Basically the MAME cores do not create the necessary folder(s) when launching any arcade core so hi scores can be saved. I created the string and added it to the Frankenstein pack, i also attached what is needed for quick install. Just extract and drop on the root of your SD/USB and overwrite.
SD:/retroarch/savefiles/mame2003-plus/hi ...is the string needed, something so simple but crucial and i am clueless why this happens.

Tell me about it (safety in public these days); there seems to be two to four crazies a day trying to run me off the road as they attempt to fly by at 120 miles per hour on a 55...until I pull out the camera, then they get scared "for some reason, as if they did something wrong and don't want their face and plate reported."
I can tell it's not you; you would be panicking if it was, and besides that's alcohol, not laced fentanyl like they were uisng. Plus you forgot to put the cheese on my car (Disclaimer: sarcastic joke).
