Hi retro gamerz,

I was wondering the purpose of this file created at the root of the SD card.
When I load a rom, this kind of file is always created. Quite disturbing !
Can we put this file somewhere else ? I've already got the .state file in savestate folder which is working well.

Thanks.

While i can't tell you exactly what this file is for, it sure doesn't belong on your sd's root.

I've build a custom .cia which places the *.fs files next to your roms, just like the other FBA cores.
It's build with the latest source available, and i've been able to play every Metal Slug game (1-5).

Get it here:

It works ok. Tested it myself.

Retroarch crashes on loading the .zip to check game contents. It does this before restarting the core to load the game.
If you load the game through a playlist or history, it skips this part and restarts the core directly.

Please make a playlist and launch your games with it. This way it works just fine. All games!

Rats. I wish there was a 1.4.1 version of that fix. Not only would I avoid the playlist requirement, I also wouldn't have to deal with the Start directory option wedged in the middle, as seen here:

I still have the 1.4.1 libretro source available. I'll take a look at it.
