Hacking Retroarch 1.6.9 - PSP turns itself off

I thinks there's something wrong with the PSP build.

After launching retroarch, the PSP gets stuck on a black screen and then it turns itself off after a few seconds.

Tested and got the same results with:
- PSP Slim / Phat
- Different CFW versions (6.60/6.61 Pro/ME and 6.61 Infinity)
- Retroarch 1.6.9 , 1.6.8 and 1.6.7

Has anyone got this problem too?

PS: Even tested with Adrenaline on PSVita and it throws an error C1-2858-3.

Edit: Tested 1.6.0 version and it throws PSP error 80010002. The only version that it seems to be working is 1.3.6.

I know a bit of PSP developing, but nothing that of a big deal.. I'm unable to solve this on my own.

Since it's open source, is there any developer out here kind enough to look into it?
