I know a lot of people are enjoying some of the new 8-bit games released ie. megaman 9 & 10. I think it would be killer if they came out with some new 8bit p.a.c games. I used to love playing those games like Shadowgate, Deja Vu, and Uninvited.

Well, Telltale Games' games are in that vein, but honestly, they get less and less point-and-clickey with each new game.

Nothing beats Day of the Tentacle. [IMG]

You can't get more point-and-clickey than with the strongbad games (at least the first episode). Oh, and scummvm does a good job of emulating these things (and flight of the amazon queen is also very nice).

Some of the later point n click games were awesome too, like the longest journey/dreamfall (although dreamfall wasn't 'point and click', per se), the secret files games on wii are pretty good, and the another code series on wii/DS is AWESOME, as well as Hotel Dusk which is amazing! Oh and the syberia games too!
