Retro City Rampage is a GTA-style clone designed for retro gamers who love 8bit experiences and throwback jokes. For the 1 year anniversary, the developer is giving away 100 copies of the Wii-ware version. In addition, a 48 hr sale has the game priced a modest $3.65 (You get the joke, right?).

All you need to do to win a free copy is to follow the developer on Twitter (@RetroCR) and retweet his post about the giveaway, or to become a fan via the official Facebook page. Then you need to sign up for the Newsletter. It's that easy!

No I'm being serious. GTA (and GTA 2) both got GBC ports, making them 8 bit. It's really quite funny, you should look up a video of it.

EDIT: And yes I see now that it's supposed to be sort of a parody game. What I was trying to say is that GTA was already retro and 8 bit.
