Homebrew retail GC game to a wad?

I have a Wii and wont be playing many GC games, but there is one I am working on getting. Defender or Defender II was released for gamecube on Midway Arcade Treasures with many other games. I really dont care for the others, but can Defender be made into a wad for playing right from its own channel. Thanks

No. You need either the original game, or the Gamecube Backup Launcher. It cant be made into a .wad

Even if you could make it a wad, the wii has too less space for it

with removed mii, news, weather, photo and shop channels, and without any wads already installed, i think you should be able to install ONE whipped gamecube game, but you need to make a homebrew app to restore the gamecube game on-the-fly

so, i dont think anyone would take time to make that working

OK, thanks. I have some snes games that were made into wads to play right from their own channels. I thought it would be easy. The GC games must be a lot bigger. I'll just play it from disc. Thanks again
