Hacking ret = error -116

any help as to the cause would be helpful,

i am following a guide

could and could not connect with the rev10 dol so used a wad instead. i got the the next step to use ios downgrader but still wont connect with the above error

i did follow a previous guide

which did work but today my bro played mario kart and updated from the disc so im guessing whatever mario kart changed is the problem, can anyone tell me what that is or how to fix this

Is the Wii connected to the net?
Looks like your Wii cannot connect giving you a 116 error.

it can indeed connect to the net, also, whenever i test it, it says its connected but needs an update, i dno if that update would break anything but maybe because it needs an update im being blocked?

Don't update it!
Thats normal if you do a connection test as it connects to Ninety servers to check for updates.
Are you getting the 116 error at this point?

yeah

i did read somewhere to wait for the lil globe in hbc to turn white rather then flash n try it, did and it worked but freezes afterwards

installing ios11 v10
>>downloading and installing content #09

then no progress, the network install of rev10 would also freeze at some point too, ¬_¬ so i just used a wad for that
