Hacking Restoring saves or nand from different 3ds backup (question)

Gaol: get saves from 3ds(a) sd card to 3ds(b)

Freind of mine has a sd cars and nand backup from prior system
He has a full band backup and sd card with saves on it.

Is their a way to get his saves to 3ds(b) without being able to run checkpoint on source.

Questions: can console a nand be flashed to b
Can I sign into Nintendo account and then copy Nintendo folder from a to b sd
Is their a homebrew tool that let's you extract saves provided have keys

No and no

But you can decrypt saves from the Nintendo 3DS folder on SD (using, for example, fuse-3ds) if you have the matching movable.sed to be used as decryption key
movable.sed is indeed found inside a (ctr)nand backup, but you need the nand decryption keys or GM9's essential.exefs (which also contains directly the movable.sed)

So we need to decrypt nand to get movable.sed. use that with tool such as fuse-3ds to decrypt saves.

Yeah, but to do that you need the console's OTP and CID (nand serial number) - both are inside the essential.exefs, but if you have that you also have a copy of movable.sed inside

(you also need a copy of the bootrom for all the steps, but that's equal on every 3DS in the world)
