Restore VitaShell on Henkaku 3.65!

I found a super simple way to restore VitaShell!

1) Install QCMA - https://codestation.github.io/qcma/

2) Install PSVIMGTOOLS-FRONTEND - https://bitbucket.org/SilicaAndPina/psvimgtools-frontend/downloads/

3) Plug in your PSVita via USB to your computer. Run QCMA, then open PSVIMGTOOLS-FRONTEND. (Your account and AID should be auto detected.)

4) On PSVIMGTOOLS-FRONTEND's popup menu, press "Easy Installers" > "VitaShell" > "Install" (button). The program should put Vitashell in to your default CMA "APPS" folder on your computer.

5) Open Content Manager on your PSVita. Press "Copy Content" > "PC -> PS Vita System" > "Applications" > "PS Vita" > "VitaShell" (checkbox) > Copy.

DONE! Now you have VitaShell back on your device!

Yes, the tai config in my device got overwritten as well after going through the restoration of the device to its original setting (firmware not affected).
okay i got my 32gb sd2vita up and working EVERYTHING IS BACK mocullashell is back , but grrrr every time i go to use my 64gb keeps going at me to format it, you just use windows to make it exFAT and copy your stuff across, of is there another way ?

You can bypass that by pressing the "L" trigger while the system is booting. Basically, this method prevents the system from loading any plugin, consequently ignoring any configuration related to the official memory card.

Try reformatting the memory card from there.
okay so how dose it "READ" the sd2vita card then if the plugins are stopped ?

Have you tried going to the Settings to format the memory card from there?
when i turn on the vita with sd2vita running with the 64gb sd card ( which works etc on my PC) it says you must format etc so i go okay then it just loops around saying format etc,

i have just done this

  1. Download the latest release of Win32 Disk Imager
  2. Open Win32 Disk Imager and select zzBlank.img that you downloaded earlier from your computer
  3. Select your microSD and click Write
  4. Take your microSD card out of your computer and put it back in
  5. Windows will prompt you to format your card. Use these settings.
    • File System: exFat
    • Allocation Unit Size: Default Allocation Size
    • Do not put a volume label. Leave blank.
    • Enable Quick Format if you wish
  6. Copy the Vita Memory card backup you made earlier to the SD Card - this part is still going on at the moment
  7. Put the SD Card into the SD2Vita adapter and reboot your Vita _ yet to do this part , wait for part 6 ^ to end

Let me see the configuration of your tai config.
here you go

# This file is used as an alternative if ux0:tai/config.txt is not found.
# For users plugins, you must refresh taiHEN from HENkaku Settings for
# changes to take place.
# For kernel plugins, you must reboot for changes to take place.
*KERNEL
ur0:tai/gamesd.skprx
ur0:tai/nonpdrm.skprx
ur0:tai/nopsmdrm.skprx
ur0:tai/Download Enabler v4.suprx
ur0:tai/repatch.skprx
ux0:app/PSPEMUCFW/sce_module/adrenaline_kernel.skprx
*ALL
ur0:tai/netcheck_bypass.suprx
# henkaku.skprx is hard-coded to load and is not listed here
*main
# main is a special titleid for SceShell

Somebody suggested about using an app called "Account Switcher" to address the "id.dat" that might be causing the problem:

https://gbatemp.net/threads/vita-asking-to-format-memory-card.481059/

Furthermore, here are threads for the same issue on Reddit:

https://www.reddit.com/r/vitahacks/comments/725djp/vita_memory_card_keeps_asking_to_be_formatted/

https://www.reddit.com/r/vitahacks/comments/6qyjtb/please_help_my_vita_is_stuck_in_a_cycle_of/

cool thank you all up and working with my 64gb sd2vita i think in the end it was all down to i forgot to unlink the card when i swapped out the 32gb for the 64gb, and on top of all that mocullashell has now repaired back on my real 8gb vita card
