Restore usb saved games without PSN account

I got a secondhand PS4 which I only use for offline play. Never been connected to the net, but I read there is an update for Witcher 3 that you can only get from PSN so I created an account with a fake gmail address.

I couldn't login because I couldn't verify the email since it was fake, but I also couldn't change the email or make a new account. So I backed up my save games to usb and did factory reset, but when I tried to restore them I couldn't because they were tied to the PSN id I created but couldn't login to.

I'm wanting to know if there is any way to recover and restore them. My PS4 is not jailbroken and in order to create the PSN account I had to update first, so it is at a level where I don't think it can be jailbroken any more. I downloaded some 100% complete saves from the net. Will those work with a non-jailbroken PS? What are my options at this point?

If you don't have access to a jailbroken PS4, then you have to resign the saves using software such as Save Wizard, which can decrypt and resign the saves to your new PSN ID.

You can resign the saves to the ID of your current PS4. There are plenty of tutorials on Youtube which explain how to do this.

I totally feel the same way, I played Burnout Paradise and just need to get the Elite license, but if I were to lose my save? No way I'd do it all over again it's just too repetitive.
