There are TWO Resident Evil games coming to the 3DS. Revelations you know about- probably the best looking game previously announced for 3DS. There's a new one though, subtitled Mercenaries. Have a look at the first screens-

More images after the spoiler tag-

Not much to show you besides screens, but a picture paints a thousand words. And since you've got no less than 5 of them, pretend like this is a 5000 word post.

Gamekyo does say that Mercenaries is a co op centric game, with levels taken from RE4 and RE5.

Wow, really nice pics.Judging by the pics, I doubt this will be story driven(hell does this game even have a story).Though I really like the co-op aspect.I can still playing RE5 with my friend in the PC.It was really fun.

Don`t know if the Mercenary-Mode of Resi5 warrants a purchase of a whole game... I think Revelations looks in every way more interesting. The Setting is also more suiting for a Resi game

Lol it's a whole new game dude why exactly would someone pay full price or a mode that's included within a game that's been released already? It was just an assumption! It looks just like the Mercenary Mode in Resi5... That would not be enough for me to pay full price, especially (like I said) when they also have a little game called ResiRevelations on the same system.... But I`m also not really the Co-Op type of game (I like competitive more

) so this could be a nice alternative to the single-player experience that ResiR is suppose to be. Still not for me if it builts purely on Mercenary...

EDIT:
QUOTESet in the Resident Evil universe, Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D will deliver relentless action with players competing against the clock to defeat as many enemies as possible in a fixed time. Featuring Mercenaries missions from Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil 5, now fully realised in stunning 3D, Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D will add brand new modes and well known characters from the series to enrich and extend the Mercenaries experience. Furthermore, the title will take advantage of the Nintendo 3DS’ WiFi Connectivity, allowing players from around the world to join forces in co-op gameplay, regardless of location.

Makes sense, that there is a huge emphasis on Co-Op-Multiplayer and I think that is a good thing, if they keep it out of ResiRev! I though Resi5 was pretty good but it was distracting to constantly have someone at you site, even when played in singleplayer. I like the approach of having two titles, that concentrate on either single- or multiplayer!

however...I feel that Resident Evil Mercs will die the same way Metroid Prime Hunters did..UNLESS THEY CHANGE SOMETHINGS

they are describing the game like it will be mainly an online one...just like MPH

once cheats are released and the game becomes stale..it will fade away like MPH

unlike Metroid Prime Hunters...This Resident evil game must have a strong Single Player mode if it wants to survive and get its moneys worth

Alternative game modes (especially mind-numbingly repetitious and unvaried ones) do not deserve their own full-price game. If they're just recycling stages too, this is just a quick cash-suck attempt. Great job ensuring the franchise is ruined, Capcom.

Must say, Project VORAPIS / V3 for YouTube and StarTube combined makes for a very fast load time and nice look/feel

@Kirbydogs, Make sure to check the scripts before even applying them, as there are some Tampermonkey scripts that could be malicious.

@Kirbydogs, Good thing I've got Open Shell, it's an open source version of Classic Shell that a lot of people used because Windows 8's start menu sucked.

I remember seeing a comment on a recent Enderman video, "Windows users: "Linux is for nerds!" Also Windows Users:" (it was referencing literally hacking an OS build)
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Kirbydogs, What OS build was it?
  • Kirbydogs @ Kirbydogs:
Dev build that was leaked, meant for Microsoft 365
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Kirbydogs, Ah yes, it was meant for 365 Link devices. Not meant to be used as a consumer build because it's very stripped down to the core.

It is kinda creepy though, it shows *some* insight on what Windows may look like in the future. For example, the CTRL+ALT+DEL menu is a.. webview?
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Kirbydogs, The Windows 11 OOBE is a webview, even the 365 enterprise logon screen.
