Wow. This game was fun. I really had a great time with it, and i really wasn't expecting this game to be so good. Some my find it more challenging than others, but its a great game in my book.

So the game starts off in South America in the early 2000's. You and your new partner Krauser are on a mission to find a man by the name of Javier Hidalgo, who has recently got in contact with someone from Umbrella. Your in a town that's somewhere near Javier's mansion. From here your journey starts. But wait i need to tell you something. And bam your in a flashback. This is one of the things that bugged me. A lot of the content was Re-Used from other games, like Resident Evil 2 and Code veronica, leaving you with hardly any new story. This didn't affect the game play at all, but i wish there would have been more new stuff, so if your playing this for the story, your out of luck (but don't let that discourage you!)

This game, as you may already know, is an "on-rails" shooter. This means that you only control the cross-hairs of your gun, and you are guided by the camera. This being said, the camera is a big deal in this game. One of the small problems i had was the camera. It wasn't a huge flaw, but it did hinder the experience a bit. You would constantly find yourself shooting something, almost killing it, then the camera would turn and you just wasted bullets (only for weapons other than the handgun). This happened rarely, but once i started really only using the handgun(which you must for those awesome Headshots), this wasn't much of a problem.

The game controls very easily, and should be good for anyone to just pick up and play. I played this game with two different people, both on normal, and they both did fairly well. The control scheme is really simple. Point at the screen, B to shoot, D-Pad to switch weapons. You can also use plus to heal, which i didn't find out till quite late. You can also switch D-Pad controls to the Nun-chuck if you wish, but it doesn't make a big difference. One small problem i had sometimes was that the Cross-Hairs weren't bright enough, and i couldn't figure out where i was shooting. This problem is easily fixed by turning on Laser Sight in the options.

The visual quality of this game is astounding. Everything is very detailed and cut-scenes are phenomenal (though they are pre-rendered). There are some scenes that are a bit too dark, but just turning up brightness on your TV fixes this.

Now here's my biggest disappointment: The length. I really wanted to play this game for a lot longer, but in about 7 hrs it was over! Though those seven hours were very great, i was shocked when it just ended.

It seems like i have been saying a lot of negative things, but there very minor, and don't show up frequently. But this game is SOOOO much fun. Couch Co-Op is amazing, and makes it a lot more fun. Me and my friends still play it quite often even though we already finished it.

In the end, all of the little flaws in this game were made up by the great amount of fun i had with this. I think I'm gonna go get Dead Space Extraction now.
