Resident Evil: Revelations comes on a 4GB Nintendo 3DS cartridge. Part of the reason for this, aside from playable content, is that the game includes several voice tracks in different languages on the same cartridge.

Capcom initially priced Revelations at $50 in the U.S., which didn’t go over very well with a lot of people. Most Nintendo 3DS games tend to be $40 or less.

Today, Capcom have announced that they’ve managed to lower the price of Revelations to $40, stating that they’ve “spent weeks looking for a way to bring [the] cost down to standard 3DS pricing”.

Resident Evil: Revelations will be released on February 7th in North America.

good to hear that capcom won't start a trend of $50 3DS games but I don't really care as I didn't like the revelations demo [I'll only think about getting it if it come with the circle pad pro]

couldn't possibly be that hard could it?

Depends on if you know the internal workings of a game company.

I really liked the demo, but I never thought it warrented it being 10$ more then everything else. It seems to me Capcom was just seeing if people would tolerate the higher price, which a lot of people obviously aren't. I'm certainly much more inclined at 40 then I was at 50.

I guess they figured that, even with the Resident Evil brand name, a game that's more expensive than the competition is going to have trouble.

I was a bit iffy on getting the game, but the pre-order bonus pushed me into getting it (First that's ever happened).

The $10 off just gives me another reason to get the game.
