I recently made myself a backup of the game and i tried to play it ( on sxos of course) it works fine until episode 3, ,when after the cutscene i can move a bit around the room, get some items but when the npc starts talking it freezes, any idea what's happening/what's going on?

Does it work fine on your cartridge copy? Maybe the dump was corrupted a bit?

Yea it works fine on cartridge both on sxos and on ofw

All you can do is try dumping again and if it happens again try a different SD card.
