Dead by Daylight is adding more content and characters, and this time, a collaboration with Capcom will introduce Resident Evil characters into the game. Dead by Daylight's X account recently announced this brand new 2v8 themed event, which will see Resident Evil characters (and possibly more assets from the franchise) added into the game starting on February 10th and up to February 25th.

The themed 2v8 will include the following characters so far:

• Jill Valentine in her BSAA outfit from RE5
• Ada Wong in her outfit from RE4 Remake
• Leon Scott Kennedy in his outfit from RE6
• Rebecca Chambers in one of her alternate outfits from the original RE1/REmake
• Albert Wesker in his outfit from RE4 Remake
• Nemesis in his classic design from the original Resident Evil 3: Nemesis (1999).

The trailer shown by Dead by Daylight sees Albert Wesker and Nemesis walking through the Raccoon Police Department from Resident Evil 2 Remake, until they eventually meet each other in the RPD's Main Hall.

There's still no confirmation whether or not we will see RE-themed stages as well or not, but DBD will release more information about the themed 2v8 at a later date.

That's cool. Not for me though. I stopped playing the game cause I kept getting too many toxic/racist/homophobic players(or a combo of all 3) or hackers all the time. Which sucked cause I like playing a "friendly" wraith. I loved chasing people around ringing my bell untill they realized I wasn't attacking them, then help them and myself farm BP

Thread title is a bit misleading since all of these characters are already in game, as is the RPD map.

The 2v8 mode started last year as a special event and this is the third(?) time it's come back, each one adding more playable killers to sort of test the waters. There are special rewards that will be apart of this event for RE, though.

games are a place where people should be able to do what they want without censorship. theres no such thing as toxic to me in games. companies should make 2 servers. ones for pansies who want censorship and one for people with thick skin who dont mind people showing how evil and stupid they can be.


that said. this game isnt that fun to me. i played it for a couple hours and moved on

Since when did I say I wanted censorship? When people are being assholes to other that are just trying to have fun to make themselves feel better that toxic to me. saying racials or homophobic slurs are just not cool. I got no problem with competitive banter for fun but when people are constantly taking it too far that's another story.

to some people thats fun. taking away their fun only leads them to be more hateful in real life. its a video game and the place where people should be able to be what they want to be

lol when did i say that i was one of the people doing this? i dont care what skin color people are or who they find attractive but i do think that people should have the right to say what they want to say. if ur feelings get hurt then ur too thin skinned. sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me. most children in my area are stronger willed than some weak grown ups
