Cover art pending.

If you're picking up Resident Evil 6 in October, you may want to consider plunking down a little extra cash. For an additional $30, you can score Resident Evil 6 Anthology (for the PS3), or Resident Evil 6 Archives (for the 360). Each collection will have slightly different downloadable titles included with RE6. Check the source for the breakdown of titles and additional info.

If they combined the PS3 and 360 exclusives into one giant anthology, I'd have a biogazam.

For $90 it's a steal. One of the better bundles I've seen.

Capcom, on one hand, throws us some crap like their infamous DLC, but on the other hand they give us these awesome bundles. It's a love-hate relationship.

I look forward to seeing what downloadable titles are included

says in the source mate

RESIDENT EVIL 6 ANTHOLOGY (PS3)

Resident Evil 6
Resident Evil 5 Gold Edition
Resident Evil 4 HD
Resident Evil 3: Nemesis
Resident Evil 2
Resident Evil: Director's Cut

RESIDENT EVIL 6 ARCHIVES (360)

Resident Evil 6
Resident Evil 5 Gold Edition

Resident Evil 4 HD
Resident Evil Code: Veronica X HD
Resident Evil Degeneration (DVD film)

seems odd to be to chuck in Resident Evil 5 for both packages as i would assume people picking up 6 already would have it, but for an extra 30 bucks i can't say its a bad deal for all that content

No kidding. I hate them for the crap they pulled with RE: ORC, but I love them for the Street Fighter 25th Anniversary Collector's Set.

No Zero or REmake? A little disappointing. The PS3 pack looks MUCH better than the Xbox pack though. RE2 and 3 are awesome, while I found CVX felt slightly underwhelming (though still fairly good).

I really do not see this as a great deal just because all the games are digital except Resident Evil 6. It is an awesome collection but I prefer physical copies over digital for collections any day. hopefully capcom will announce an edition that has some more physical discs for $20-$30 more than this collection is.

Oh wow, this is pretty cool. I can't say that the 360 version is tempting (though it does have Code Veronica, which is a plus), but the PS3 version is pretty sexy, I'd certainly say it's worth the price.

One thing that just occurred to me.... The sound on the 2600 sucked less back then the harsh sound we hear now is from infinitely better speakers we have now, back when the 2600 was new speakers produced a almost muffled sound, like CRTs made old graphics look slightly better.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I wonder if I could recommend that to some emulation devs that perhaps the sound could use some smoothing out to simulate those old TVs
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I think a few of the early systems could benefit from that, at least up to the 8 bit generation, by the 16 bit generation I think TVs had gotten a lot better in almost every way

i dont have an sd card adapter but I have an usb sd card adapter

It's old but it's the best firmware out for DS stuff
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
it says it only works for the original R4, R4i Gold (r4ids.cn), R4iDSN (r4idsn.com) and Acekard R.P.G.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    nvm it does support mine
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:

Just give it a try, but honestly if you have a 3DS you can play DS games without a card just off the internal SD card
