There's 2 EU saves up there as well.

This has nothing to do with how NEW your OoT cartridge is.
Me and my friend both have launch day OoT (PAL) and our savegames are not compatible with eachother's cart.
Unless they shipped 1.0 and 1.1 carts on the same day of release, which I doubt.
There must be something else that makes some of these saves incompatible, but I have no clue what it actually is.

Yeah there seems to be some weird changes, that is why they asking for help, so both you and your friend are perfect people to follow the first post and email in your dumps and fresh saves.

The more that come in via their email, the more faster and better it will work with the next release, as I suspect there is more at play then just two versions of Zelda.

I just 1:1 moved their payload from one save to another.

Yeah, please make this a higher priority task, at least do it while you are waiting for the dumps. There might be more people willing to use Homebrew and stuff that have CN rather than OoT.

why all this zelda compatibility hassle ? just tell the gateway team to save their time by recommending the SKY3DS solution which is posted by sonic2 on their front page,problem solved ,what they need to do right now is fix the super stable 3d bug & the large memory card bug.

They probably would if it wasn't so random, as there's no way to tell which game is 1.1 and which is not, and the problem is we're not even sure if it's ONLY 1.1 or more versions exist.

That's one way of looking at it. I suspect they prefer to spend their profits on hookers and blow than R&D.

Anywho, I have this gut feeling DSTWO+ is about to be released. Makes no difference to me, I ordered another gateway and a sky today. Cheaper than most of the OOT available., though I have one on half at a GS about 10 miles away. I can use the sky on my 3DS or sell it later. My game selection is a lot less than my kid's.

This is just beta, still sticking with August 14th for the full release. Lol.
