Would it be possible to translate that wonderful game?
If nobody dares to do it, could someone tell me if it is possible to do it?
I can try to do it myself but I don't know how to extract the necessary files and edit them. Thanks!

...Wait, is that the running game? Or is this a new game that I don't know about...

I know the runner game was localized, but it does have some...translation issues.

EDIT: Oh, different game, ah well. lol

Well, maybe @switchhunter666 was thinking about also translation and I wrongly assumed they want to help with technical stuff only

Anyways, I kinda forgot about this game, actually, but I will say...it is possible for this to be localized, if we randomly got that runner game.

Yep, the more Engs translation mods for Switch, the better. :)
Definitely. But often the biggest issue is not a technical side, but mental state of translators since they are doing the most of work. Many of them are victims of boredom, or wall they can't jump.

I am willing to help with as many Japanese -> English translation mods for Switch as possible from technical side. jumped out only from one group since I didn't like how leadership was dealing with some project.
But for now I'm avoiding RPGs since they are too time consuming for me.

For now tinkering myself in Symphonic Rain translation port (have abused engine so badly that I'm constantly attacked with segmentation faults :D), next are Cross Channel and Chaos;Child when it will release (Chaos;Head Noah translation is still not finished sadly). It's easier for me to do that since I don't need to play game first to know where which text goes. And just play and fix bugs simultaneously. :P So I have solved issue with boredom for myself since I have no interest in working on mod for game I have freshly finished.

Would you be able to explore the file structure and just give a report on how big a job you think this would be? My technical knowledge is so-so, once I'm pointing in the right direction I may be able to take it on. It's just the getting started that i'd probably struggle with!

If you will remind me between 04.02 - 09.02, I can't check game earlier. :P

If I recall correctly they wanted to translate it at one point but it seems like that was given up on kinda like yokai watch. Which makes sense given its a lot bigger of a game than the runner game

Reminding ya' :)
Ok, so without either a dev that wants to write custom unpacker/repacker or buying UnityEx paid version you won't do anything.
All important files seems to be stored inside UnityFS compressed bundles (there is no big unity3d at least). This was made by Unity 2019.4.24f1, but UnityEx for some reason treats it as 2020. Both are hidden behind paywall, so result is the same.

I don't know about any tool except for UnityEx paid versions that supports their bundles and allows for unpacking and repacking stuff.

Versions before paid version was introduced throw error when trying to read bundles from this game.

  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
I got this ps4 at launch and never updated since 9.0
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
You got a good chance of buying a used one and asking the seller how often they used or even ask for a Pic of fw and telling them not to update
  • RedColoredStars @ RedColoredStars:
Speaking of PLaystation. I see Evilnat put out a beta for PS3 CFW 4.91.2 on the 22nd.
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
Don't really see the point in updating it tbh
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Yea you right, I thought about updating my PS3 CFW to 4.91, but why really, everything plays fine now. I guess for people that have already updated past 4.9 it would be helpful.
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
Idk if online servers are still active that would be my only thought
    +1
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Thats true, personally I don't play it online at all, in fact, I deleted all wifi details on it once I installed CFW, so it won't connect and auto-update itself
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
I play most games that are on both PS3/360 strickly on the 360, but PS3 exclusives are really only games I play on the PS3 (You know me, I'm more of a Xbox junkie)
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
Ps3 really has no titles worth going online
