Homebrew [REQUEST] Changing Shy Guy's colour in Mario Kart

When playing Mario Kart via download play, you get to play as a randomly coloured shy guy. Couldn't there be a homebrew to choose those shy guys when playing the retail cratridge ?
It would be so cool to play as a blue Shy Guy

Probably yes, I have no experience with spider so I can't make it myself.

Could be done as a path edit in the ram with Spider (To redirect the game to use the colored model). Unfortunately, the colors are controlled in a specific way that is only checked in Download Play. You cannot bring them online.

They each have their own individual model. However, any changes would only be cosmetic.
