Gaming Req help on 1212 - Super Mario Advance 4

help!
i had this file 1212 - Super Mario Advance 4 - Super Mario Bros 3 (U) and it didint work on my G6, it said saved data is corrupted, then i tested it on my VirtualBoyAdvande emulator and it said the same.
then i downloaded another one from a site, and it went the same way, not working.
it stuck at main page on emulator but it goes to main menu on GBA, which showed just BG of main menu with some corrupted sound files.
i found an IPS patch called 1212 - Super Mario Advance 4 - Super Mario Bros 3 (U) Save Fix.ips for it, but it didnt work with that IPS file too.

please help.

That game worked for me on the G6. It took a long time a the 'save corrupted' screen, but it eventually went past it and worked fine. I only got the 'save corrupted' screen the first time I started it up.

It works w/VBA if you switch the saver size to 128.
